Chelsea Women will play all their Women’s Super League (WSL) home matches at Stamford Bridge from the 2026-2027 season onwards. This decision, made in consultation with players and Chelsea’s fan advisory board, signifies a new era for the club as they transition from their previous home at Kingsmeadow. The move to the 41,312-capacity Stamford Bridge follows Chelsea Women’s recent success, including their 2-1 FA Cup victory against Tottenham Hotspur, which was their last game at Kingsmeadow. The club aims to create a more prominent presence in women's football and provide a better experience for fans. Kingsmeadow will remain part of Chelsea Women’s structure, hosting academy games. Chelsea Women’s CEO Aki Mandhar emphasized the importance of this transition, stating that it’s a moment for all who have contributed to the women’s game. The club is focused on filling Stamford Bridge to enhance their fan base and commercial opportunities while continuing their pursuit of trophies.
